Items discussed and actions agreed:

Welcome to Gill Oliver and Ray Ferrier on their first meeting with us.

Angelo reported that the Village Hall committee were keen on the idea of being a “model” for our project. However there were concerns that this could be a large expense and how was this money going to be raised.

There was much discussion again on our objectives and best ways forward.

Jon Boyle reported that he did not manage to make the IEE meeting last month on domestic generation.

It was decided that it would be a good idea to write an article each month for the Parish Mag.  Jon Boyle volunteered to write a piece on Low Energy bulbs for this month’s mag. For the next editions we will report on Loft insulation and then Wall insulation. All members to try and collate information for these next two subjects.

It was also decided that there needs to be further research by all of us and the suggestion was to review as many case studies from other villages and organisations that have already completed these types of projects, an example is the Teeside case study.

All information gathered so far has been stored at the following location

Next meeting will take place at the Beaufort on 27 November at 7.30pm
