1. Apologies
Apologies were received from Sue Herod, Neil Fozard, Chris Rispin and Sue Hope.
2. Previous Minutes
The Minutes of the previous meeting to be distributed.
3. Matters Arising
Kitchen re-vamp - MB to arrange survey and quote.
Checklist – ongoing
Playground bin – ongoing
Drama quote – ongoing.
Simplefundraising – ongoing.
Basketball Net – done.
Gardening Club – AS has sorted website link as they requested.
4. Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s Report was distributed.
5 Emergency Lighting/Fire Bells/Extinguishers
All Ok.
6. Playground Check
Cleaning of tiles still needs to be arranged.
7. Correspondence
SA passed on literature regarding Sustainable Communities Conference. Courses available if anyone is interested.
Sue Hopes emailed information re Lottery funding for Energy initiatives on Community Buildings. AS to follow up with Energy Group.
8. ROSPA
ROSPA report on Playground states that “trip hazard at entrance adjacent to Hall” is the only problem found. CE has our copy of the report.
9. Any Other Business
Fridge Thermometer needed. MB to purchase.
Art Group. FS to send a letter reminding them they must sign out after sessions.
Problem with kids using area across car park entrance as bike track and also digging out the bank. AS has names of those involved. FS to write to parents re our safety concerns .
Letter to be sent to Sue Hopes asking for clarification of Hall Boundary wall.
10. Date of next meeting
The date of the next meeting will be Monday 9 June 2008 at 7.45pm.
There being no further business the meeting was closed at 2045 hrs.
